Ascension Fall Train and Play Academy

Fall Train and Play: Saturday mornings from 10:00- Noon October 10, 17, 24, 31 at Gilman School in Baltimore, Maryland.

Ascension Lacrosse Maryland is excited to announce the upcoming Fall Train and Play Academy. This event is open to the classes of 2025-2028 and will combine Ascension’s “3T” training pedagogy with a competition component utilizing small sided games.

• Four high tempo 60 minute Ascension Training sessions featuring our “3T training progression” pedagogy focusing on the Technical, Tactical, and Team situational aspects of the game.

• Four “free play” 7 v 7 game sessions where creativity, deception, off ball play, assessing context, and rapid decision making will be emphasized. This learning environment creates skills that translate and cultivates “speed of mind”. Lacrosse is a flow game based on rapid decision making and “free play” is the best way to develop this while having the joy of playing and competing. 
• This unique player development opportunity is offered to players in the 2028, 2027, 2026, and 2025 grad years. These are the key LEARN TO TRAIN and TRAIN TO TRAIN age groups where accumulation of skill development is vital. https://ascensionlaxmd.com/program-philosophy/
